Matt White Polyethylene is a flexible, strong, durable and thicker label material with a range of applications, particularly for hard, rigid surfaces. A permanent, acrylic based waterproof adhesive with good tack & adhesion on a wide range of surfaces. It has good moisture / water resistance. This material it is not suitable for printing with water-based inks and is only compatible with laser printers. Matt White Polyethylene labels are commonly used in commercial and industrial applications, being specially designed for the labelling of chemical drums.
A special matt white polyethylene (PE) specifically designed for use on ‘hot fuse’ printer systems (laser printers & copiers). This material also conforms to BS5609 part 2 for marine immersion.
