Matt white polypropylene (MWPP) self-adhesive labels are a durable synthetic material with a permanent waterproof adhesive, and are suitable for use with inkjet printers. They have a special top coating which helps the inkjet ink to dry, fixes the print in place, and also acts as a protective barrier. Polypropylene labels are suitable for a wide range of outdoor and indoor labelling requirements where durability is required in an ink-jet digitally printable material.

Polypropylene labels are suitable for a wide range of outdoor labelling requirements, especially Haz-Chem labels, where longevity and durability are required in an Ink-Jet digitally printable material.

Our MWPP labels are popular for applications that need tough and durable waterproof labels that can be printed on with an inkjet printer. Standard inkjet labels are not usually waterproof, as the inks used in inkjet printers are usually water-based. Therefore, the inks will smudge when they get wet. However, matt white polypropylene inkjet labels have a top coating which helps the ink to dry, fixes the print in place, and also acts as a protective barrier.
